As always, I have been talking about one and the only thing that I believe ,to the level of obsession, will certainly bring us the ultimate victory in CSS. I always keep on repeating to my friends that please develop your writing skills if you really want to be CSP. And the first step towards that direction (towards the vast field of writing) is to begin building a good and simple but correct and short “Paragraphs”. Many have graduated but they still unfortunately do not know that how to build a simple paragraph with an organized form and structure . When I say Paragraph Development Skill I mean to say that students should be able to write well-structured , well-organized , coherent and connected paragraphs. They should know what are the basic requirement of a good paragraph. They should be well-aware of its ingredients and the fact that what is it that makes an effective paragraph? They should know the difference between usual and unusual types of Paragraphs. They should be able to distinguish between Introductory and Concluding/Summarizing Paragraphs. They should rather bother themselves to look at the parts/ the components of a certain paragraph that causes its eventual development. They should know the position as to where to put a “topic-sentence” , introductory sentence, concluding sentence in the whole structure of a developing paragraph. After they learn to construct paragraphs and learn to put the bricks of sentences in the construction of the palace of paragraphs in the right place and position, it would never fail them to produce a great deal of written expressions on a certain topic even if they don’t have sufficient knowledge of the topic. This skill is like a sword, a weapon, an effective equipment in all of the available paraphernalia of students. It will aid them on appropriate time of huge stress in the examination hall. It will take the vulnerable ship of their paper to safe harbor xD ( I am trying to sound literary here.. HUMOROUS XD).
Furthermore, This skill is so much helpful that its importance can’t be denied. Even though I would not have been here giving you sort of caveats, still then you would have been obliged to comply by it no matter what. This skill will ensure your success in every exam. For your ease, I would recommend you to please learn this skill no matter what it takes, with determination. First, learn the structure/ the form/ the prerequisites/the basic ingredients (grammar, sentence making, infinitives, gerunds, parts of speech, clauses etc) of the paragraph. Second, after you master the skill of Paragraph Development .. attempt to write at least 1000 words on any topic of your interest from past papers and CSS syllabus. Do some research, read journals , books, articles, and research papers before you sit to write on it . To write , we have to read first. It is said that in order to write, produce, create 10 pages by your own, you have to read 200 pages for that. SO before you have any opinion on any topic, go read relevant books/research papers on it. Just being an idealist engaging in wild fantasies, imagine for a second that you have written 1000 words on every significant topic (Democracy, Education, Politics, Society, Culture, Economy, etc.. if you write 1000 words on 50 topics each.. you will write 50,000 words. A person who has written so many words himself honestly with heart and soul can never fail any exam in his life.
Lastly, Things are never easy. Thousands of coveting students want to write effectively with impressive and clear way of expression, yet only rare fortunate few, who makes efforts, gives sacrifices, remain sleepless and out of comfort zone can actually make it. Nevertheless, I will dedicate my conclusion to those who are always hopeful, and anxious and eager and enthusiastic to learn rapaciously. May Allah bless all of us. May you be crowned in both the worlds. I wish you all the best!
